Meet the Team
Mr Dan Storey
Dedicated Safeguarding Team
Deputy Headteacher

Mrs Jo Mullin
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
Deputy Headteacher

At Acre View Primary School, we are committed to the safety and happiness of all of our pupils.

If you are concerned about a child, please speak to our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mr Storey.  In the event that Mr Storey is unavailable, please speak to one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads – Mrs Mullin (Deputy Headteacher) or Mrs Wynne (Headteacher).

Are you worried that you or someone else is at risk of harm?  Reach out for support now, we’ll make sure you get the help that you need.

Who can I talk to?

  • Is someone in immediate danger?  Call 999 or talk to a member of staff.
  • You can talk to anyone at our school, they all know what to do and how to keep people safe.
  • Need someone to talk to?  Our Safeguarding Team are here to help call the school office or complete the online form.

Can I tell you online?

If someone is in danger, it’s really important that you tell a member of staff straight away or call 999.

If no one is in immediate danger, you can get in touch online and let us know what’s happening.

These online messages are sent confidentially to our Designated Safeguarding Lead who will look at these messages during the school day in term time.

What happens if I ask for support?

We’re creating a culture where pupils and parents/carers are confident to ask for help and support when they need it.

  • We’ll take your report seriously.
  • We will be supportive and keep you safe.
  • You’re not creating a problem by reporting an accident.
  • You should never feel ashamed for making a report.
  • We will tell you what happens next and who the information will be shared with.

We can’t promise to keep it confidential, but we’ll only share with strictly those who really need to know.
