Welcome to our school, where “positive relationships, kindness and respect are at the heart of everything we do.” As Ofsted noted, “parents and carers recognise how the school’s ambition and care is transformative for their children.”
Our ambitious curriculum combines therapeutic support with academic challenge, helping pupils to grow in confidence and resilience. Pupils thrive through a rich variety of experiences that broaden their horizons and prepare them for life beyond school.
Pupils benefit from outstanding personal development that builds their confidence, independence and readiness for life beyond school. Through a rich and varied programme of experiences, our children flourish socially, emotionally and spiritually, preparing them to thrive in the wider world.
Our school community works in close partnership with parents, carers and the Local Authorities to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive. Through strong relationships and shared ambition, we create a consistent and caring environment that nurtures each pupil’s development and success.
Welcome to Acre View Primary School, our school has been purposefully remodelled in the beautiful village of Lydiate, Sefton.
Acre View caters for primary aged children with a range of complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, enabling their academic development while creating inspiring opportunities for pupils’ social, moral, spiritual and cultural awareness.

What a busy and exciting week we've had in school! We were thrilled to welcome Hi-Impact with their amazing VR headsets, giving our pupils a fantastic, immersive learning experience. We also enjoyed dance sessions from Glenn and Multi Sports, keeping everyone active, engaged, and smiling. Alongside all of these special activities, there has been lots of hard work happening right across the school, we are so proud of everyone's effort and enthusiasm. Of course, we made sure to take some time to relax too, enjoying a peaceful reading break and even getting our hands a little messy while planting flowers. A wonderful week full of learning, creativity, and fun!
