Welcome to our school, where “positive relationships, kindness and respect are at the heart of everything we do.” As Ofsted noted, “parents and carers recognise how the school’s ambition and care is transformative for their children.”
Our ambitious curriculum combines therapeutic support with academic challenge, helping pupils to grow in confidence and resilience. Pupils thrive through a rich variety of experiences that broaden their horizons and prepare them for life beyond school.
Pupils benefit from outstanding personal development that builds their confidence, independence and readiness for life beyond school. Through a rich and varied programme of experiences, our children flourish socially, emotionally and spiritually, preparing them to thrive in the wider world.
Our school community works in close partnership with parents, carers and the Local Authorities to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive. Through strong relationships and shared ambition, we create a consistent and caring environment that nurtures each pupil’s development and success.

Pirate Day in Starling and Kingfisher classes Our young pirates had an amazing day yesterday, packed with adventure and learning! They got moving with piratethemed PE and dance, complete with 'walk the plank' challenges and 'ar me hearty' dance moves! The children also explored the continents, learning how to read maps, and discovering how a compass helps you find your way. To end a brilliant day, the classes had a treasure hunt where they put all their new skills into action to track down the hidden treasure! What a fantastic day of imagination, teamwork and fun!

Just a reminder that tomorrow at 9.30am is our Sefton Family Hub coffee morning. Family Hub Connectors works closely with local professionals like GPs, schools, libraries and community organisations to help join up services so families receive smoother, more coordinated support. They map local activities and support networks, identify gaps, and encourage partners to work together. They also collect feedback and data to help improve what's offered across the community. In short: they help local services connect, collaborate and work better for families. We hope to see you there!

The police have informed us of this and they are working with schools in the area to help us keep our children, staff and visitors safe. We are remaining vigilant and are very aware of what is happening around school. We wanted to keep you up to date with the situation and to reassure you that the police are fully supporting us with this.
