What is a School Development Plan? A School Development Plan is an action plan which we write together to share the ways in which we want to improve. Our School Development Plan action areas This year Mrs Mullin will : make sure our teaching is really good for all our pupils. have more exciting learning outside at school and on trips, so you can play and explore in nature. help teachers make lessons fun and easy to learn for everyone. make friends with your family, school helpers, and people in our neighbourhood to help our school. Quality of Education This year Mrs Wynne will: create a way for everyone to help and make decisions together, so our school can grow and be a happy place. make sure our school is nice and tidy and we show how much fun we have learning together. find a super way to see how everyone is doing, like giving certificates and stickers. create a way for everyone to know who helps make decisions, like a team of superheroes, so we can all work together. Leadership and Management
This year Ms Thompson will: set up a group of staff that helps take care of all the children’ needs. make sure we keep checking and updating your plans. make you get the special help you need, like talking and moving in a better way. help everyone learn about and enjoy different cultures and traditions around us and have lots fun of visits and trips. This year Mrs Prince will: make a super plan for how our school works every day! This includes what we do in class, what to do if there’s an emergency, and how we share news with everyone. make our school friendly to the Earth by using less paper. This will help us learn better and take care of our planet at the same time. make a special money plan for our school, so each part of our school knows how much they can spend. This way, we can have everything we need to learn and play. to find the best helpers for our school by making sure we choose people who will be super fun and great teachers. Operations Personal Development and SEND This year Mr Storey will: make sure everyone at school follows the our rules. make sure everyone uses our the special system to keep all children safe. make sure we have good ways to check when children are not at school.
